Massage and bodywork should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. You should see a physician, chiropractor, or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment of which you are aware.
Massage and bodywork professionals are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness; and nothing said in the course of a session should be construed as such.
Swedish Massage
The basic, or classic, massage. Swedish is good for relaxation as well as gradually working through the layers of tension, or 'peeling the onion,' to enable more defined bodywork to be accomplished.
Chair Massage
A snippet of massage while fully-clothed. Available in 5-minute increments at events (Girls' Night In, Farmer's Markets, etc). Available in 30-minute increments in-office.
The Buddy System
Two 30-minute chair massages, for you and a friend or spouse, at your home or a park. Designed with SAHMs and families in mind: one adult watches the kiddos while the other receives a massage, then switch. A spot of respite that fits more easily into the household budget without requiring extra babysitting.
